2026 Summer Camp is Here!
Join us for a fun and hands-on summer riding camp experience at Denise Vespa Stables!
Campers will have the opportunity to learn about horseback riding, horse care and basic horsemanship! We will have arts and crafts, and more in a welcoming, outdoor environment.
Whether your child is new to horses or already loves riding, our camp is a great way to build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy time around the horses.
Two separate 2-day camps will be offered: July 14 & 15 and August 11 & 12. Camp is $225 per camper, with a $25 non-refundable deposit required to reserve a spot.
Snacks and drinks will be provided; campers should bring their own lunch.
For safety, all participants must wear pants and heeled boots for riding.

Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon launched the Onondaga County Agritourism Grant Program, with individual awards to assist with agritourism ventures. Since the program’s launch, Onondaga County has awarded over 50 farms with over $800,000. DVS was one of the lucky recipients.
Clinics
Each year, Denise invites a renowned professional trainer for a weekend clinic with her clients, offering them the chance to learn from top experts in the industry. These weekends are packed with fun, laughter, hours of riding, learning, and, of course, cake! Previous clinicians have included Mitch Clark, Melissa Moore, Tom Thorpe, Jerry Huston, Pieter Snyman, TJ Santaferra, and Ellen Beard.
Trail Rides
Horses and riders stay in shape on the miles of trails around Vespa's Onondaga Hill stables that are available to boarders.
DVS Welcomes the Budweiser Clydesdales
The famous Budweiser Clydesdales often stop at DVS as a lay-over on their trips across the country. DVS has hosted the beautiful Clydesdales many times, and each time is an honor and a joy.
